It All Started with Family and a Love for Cars
I grew up in Circleville, Ohio, and my obsession for cars wasn’t just a hobby... it was a way of life, thanks to three incredible people who shaped me.
My dad, a car salesman at Jim Houseman Ford, would bring home the latest demo vehicles, and I’d spend hours marveling at their design and features.
My step-dad fueled my need for speed, introducing me to slot car racing and muscle cars.
And then there was my Uncle, a turn flagger for the Indy Car circuit, who handed me my first model car when I was just five. Thanks to them, my fascination with cars became a driving force in my life and career.
Lessons from the Navy and Beyond
Discipline, grit, and the importance of teamwork... those were just some of the lessons I learned during my time aboard the U.S.S. Dwight D. Eisenhower from 1994 to 1996.
When I transitioned to civilian life, my first job was as a Customer Service Rep at Big Bear Grocery. That’s where I discovered how much I enjoyed helping people and solving problems—skills that became the foundation for
The Birth of CarZmedics
By 1998, I was working for a franchise repair business, but I felt stuck. The lack of opportunities and creative freedom was frustrating, so I decided to take a leap and start my own company... CarZmedics.
At first, it was just me, fixing rock chips, scratches, and bumpers for local dealerships. But things took off quickly. Before I knew it, I was working with one of the largest used car wholesalers in the country, which gave my business the reputation and reach to expand even further.
